Four card poker

Four card poker is a relatively new casino game based on Three card poker. However in this variant 5 cards are dealt to the player who has to make the best 4 card hand while the dealer gets 6 cards amongst which he has to make the best 4 card hand. Some variants include the player getting 6 cards while the dealer gets 7. Moreover there is no qualifying hand for the dealer and after the inital bet, the player can then up his ante upto 3 times after looking at the cards. The player has to beat or equal the hand held by the dealer to win.

There is also a side pot called "Aces Up wager" wherein the player can bet and win if his hand has a pair of aces or higher. This can be placed independently or in conjunction with the ante wager and play wager. However due to the 4 card nature of this game, the hand rankings differ significantly from all poker variants. For instance Quads beats straight flush and 3 of a kind beats straight while a flush is smaller than 2 pair, straight and a set.
