Alfentanil

Alfentanil (Alfenta) is a parenteral short-acting opioid painkiller, used for anaesthesia in surgery. While it gives less cardiovascular complications, it tends to give stronger respiratory depression. Alfentanil is a Schedule I drug under the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs[1].
