Algerian hip hop

Algerian hip hop includes that of both the ethnic Algerians living in France (and part of French hip hop), of which a number have become prominent rappers, as well as a less well-known Algerian scene. The 1999 Algerap compilation album helped to introduce several performers to international audiences, such as Intik and Double Kanon [1].
