Angewomon

Angewomon is a fiction character from the Digimon series. An Archangel Digimon of the Ultimate level. Gatomon digivolved into her to avenge Wizardmon's death at the hands of Myotismon. She and Angemon happen to be a great team in battle, of course fandom had their "relationship" reflected in Frontier's Seraphimon and Ophanimon (their human-type mega-forms).

First Season (Digimon Adventure)

Angewomon first debuted on August 3, 1999 during the final battle against Myotismon. The sacrifice of Wizardmon and Hikari's mourning caused her crest to glow and Gatomon to digivolve into Angewomon and avenge her friend's death. Angewomon was also a needed ally in the fight against Venom Myotismon, the Dark Masters, and Apocalymon. But one battle most memorable was against the only Digimon Angewomon can't stand, Lady Devimon.

Second Season (Digimon Adventure 02)

When Hikari used the crest power to free the Soverigns, Gatomon lost the power to become Angewomon. That was until three years later, when she assumed her form once when Hikari was in the Dark World. Then, on Christmas Day, Gatomon and the other old generation Digimon had their power restored to them by one of the DigiCores of Azulongmon. Angewomon, with Mega Kabuterimon and their human partners, when to Hong Kong to help the asian Digidestined.

But the next day, Angewomon faced another Lady Devimon (Under the service of Daemon) before reinforcements came. During the fight aginst Skull Satamon of the Daemon Corps, Gatomon had to sacrificed her power again to energize Imperial Dramon, allowing him to Mode Change to his Fighter Mode. But during the battle with MaloMyotismon, Angewomon was manifested as a result of Hikari's dream for happiness for all.
