Anthony T. Grafton

Anthony T. Grafton who is the Henry Putnam University Professor of History at Princeton University, is one of the most accomplished scholars of Renaissance. After completing a Bachelor's Degree in History from University of Chicago, he went on to finish his doctorate from the same institution in 1975. After spending some time at Cornell, he joined Princeton as an Assistant Professor. In 1985, he became a full professor.

Grafton works in many areas and these include the history of books and scholarship, history of science, Renaissance magic, cultural history of Renaissance Europe. He also writes on a wide variety of topics for The New Republic, The American Scholar and New York Review of Books.
