Ashanti Alston
Ashanti Alston is a former Black Panther Party member. He was a Black Liberation Army soldier for 12 years and an United States political prisoner for 14 years. Currently, he's northeast coordinator for Critical Resistance, a member of Estación Libre, and is on the board of the Institute for Anarchist Studies.
Alston also produces the zine, "The Anarchist Panther" (the name being a reference to his current affiliation as an anarchist and his past membership in the Black Panther Party).
