Bad Harzburg

Bad Harzburg is a city in the centre of Germany, in the Goslar district. It has a population of 24,994 as of December 2003. Between 1065-1068 a castle was built there but was destroyed so only ruins remain today. In 1892 it was given the title "Bad" and started to become an important tourist attraction.
