Battle of Mantinea (362 BC)

The Battle of Mantinea (362 BC) saw the forces of Thebes and its allies, led by Epaminondas, defeat the combined forces of Athens, Sparta, and Mantinea. Unfortunately for the Thebans, Epaminondas was killed at the moment of victory, ending the Theban hegemony in Greece.
