Benchtop conditions
Benchtop Conditions are conditions at which a bench in a laboratory would normally be under. In other words, the conditions are usually room temperature, room pressure, normal humidity, etc. Benchtop Conditions are more a rule of thumb measurement rather than a standard. For standardized conditions, STP or Standard Temperature Pressure is used. STP is defined as pressure equal to 1 atmosphere (atm) and 25 degrees Celsius.
