Bole International Airport

Bole International Airport serves the city of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Its IATA airport code is ADD and its ICAO code is HAAB. Formerly known as Haile Selassie I International airport, it is the main hub of Ethiopian Airlines. The national airline has service to destinations in Ethiopia and throughout the African continent, as well as nonstop service to Asia, Europe, and North America. Bole International is also served by Lufthansa, Sudan Airways, British Airways, and recently, KLM. It is also one of the main pilot training and aircraft maintenance centers in Africa.

In 2003, a new international passenger terminal opened, one of the largest on the continent. This accompanied the completion of a new 3800m runway.

The airport is located near the Bole neighborhood in the southeastern part of Addis Ababa.
