Breguet Atlantique

The Breguet Atlantic (Breguet 1150 Atlantique) is a Long-distance Reconnaissance airplane, primarily designed for use over open Sea. It is used in several Nato-Countries as a reconnaissance- and patrol-airplane as well as anti-submarine aircraft. It came to light during the Atlantique Incident when a Pakistan Navy atlantic plane was downed by the Indian Air Force in 1999.

It is the only sea-reconnaissance airplane specifically designed and built for this purpose, instead of refitting or modifying existing civil designs.
