Charles Bluhdorn

Charles Blühdorn (September 20,1926-February 20,1983) was an Austrian-born American industrialist. He ran the conglomerate Gulf + Western. During his years there he bought Paramount Pictures and Madison Square Garden, among many other acquisitions.
