City Hall is a 1996 film directed by Harold Becker. Al Pacino and John Cusack star as the idealistic Mayor of New York John Pappas, and Deputy Mayor, Kevin Calhoun respectively. The plot follows the aftermath of the death of a boy caught in the crossfire a drug dealer / detective shootout. Calhoun's investigations, as well as those by Marybeth Cogan (Bridget Fonda), the widow of the detective, eventually uncover a scandal.
