Community Action Party

The Community Action Party is a British political party mostly active in Cheshire and Greater Manchester. It advocates free health care and education provision, a managed public transport infrastructure and a moratorium on the use of green belt land for building. It also supports a zero tolerance policy toward crime, but is against the introduction of identity cards on civil liberties grounds.

The party put up candidates in four constituencies in the United Kingdom general election, 2005. It does not have any representation in the House of Commons.
