Cryptic Studios develops massively multiplayer online role-playing games. Their first title, City of Heroes, launched on April 28, 2004. As of 2004, they are developing the first expansion for the game, City of Villains, for 2005. Cryptic Studios is located in San Jose, California. The company was established in June of 2000.
