Although much smaller in number as compared to the Management consulting companies, the Economics consultancies or the think tanks, the impact of the cultural consultancies on the society is sometimes equally significant.

Operating mostly in the non-profit and the government sector, they bring the productivity know-how and planning and management skills of the business field into the cultural domain.
