Ban, Yuthura

Main article Yuthura Ban

A fictional character from the Star Wars universe. Seen in the 2003 videogame Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Yuthura Ban is the apprentice to Uthar Wynn, the head of the Sith academy on Korriban. In the game, the player has to talk to Yuthura to get into the Sith academy. Yuthura was a purple skinned female Twi'lek with many tattoos (some Sith, others from her past as a slave).

Bandon, Darth

Darth Bandon was a former Jedi and the apprentice of Darth Malak during the time of the Jedi Civil War. He, in fact, filled the position that Malak himself once had under Darth Revan. Bandon wielded a double-bladed lightsaber in combat and wore custom-built armor. He might have eventually defeated and succeeded Malak, in the Sith tradition, had he not met up with Revan in combat. Bandon and his henchmen confronted Revan at the behest of their master, but were defeated by the former Dark Lord and his allies in battle. Revan took Bandon's armor as a memento of the victory. Bandon's death was unmourned, and Malak later replaced him with a far more powerful apprentice: Bastila Shan.

During his time as Malak's servant, Bandon was occasionally prone to violent outbursts. Displaying cunning but little wisdom, he often held an inflated view of his own power.

Bane, Darth

Main article Darth Bane

Bane was a powerful Sith Lord who lived a thousand years before the Battle of Yavin, and was the last of his kind to survive the catastrophic Battle of Ruusan.

He had trained in the ways of the Force under the Sith Lord Qordis, but never completed his formal training. Bane believed he had the right to rule, and had little patience for traditional titles and hierarchies. He had a religious, even messianic view of the Force, a view which stood in stark contrast to the power-oriented creed of the time. In Bane's mind, only he could guide the Sith to their true destiny.

Flint

Flint is a character in the fictional Star Wars universe. He was one of many Dark Jedi who served the Galactic Empire, but Flint was the protege of Darth Vader himself. Following Vader's and Palpatine's deaths at the Battle of Endor, the former Emperor's Hand Lumiya became the new Dark Lady of the Sith and took Flint as her apprentice. Shortly afterward, however, Luke Skywalker, warned and assisted by the ghosts of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Anakin Skywalker, managed to redeem Flint, who later became a great political figure on the planet Belderone.

Hord, Tulak

In the fictional Star Wars universe, Tulak Hord was one of the Dark Lords of the Sith buried in the Valley of the Dark Lords on the planet Korriban. First featured in the video game Knights of the Old Republic, Tulak Hord was claimed by Kreia in the sequel game to be the greatest lightsaber duelist the Sith have ever known (at that time) and thus possibly the Sith's greatest lightsaber duelist ever. It is unknown what stance of lightsaber dueling Hord practiced, but the only other speculated successor in dueling skill would be Darth Tyranus or Luke Skywalker.

It has been rumoured the the Lightsaber form Hord used was a Pre-version of Form VII used by Mace Windu, a credit to his prowess as a saber duelist. Kreia also had mention that he had made a holocron of his fighting technique, something that Windu and other might have discovered.

Kaan

Lord Kaan was Dark Lord of the Sith, circa 1,000 BBY. He was the latest leader of the Sith army known as the Brotherhood of Darkness, and had managed to turn it from a scrabble of feuding warlords into a force to take control of the galaxy.

With his charisma and power, the Sith struck back at the Republic and the Jedi Order. Thousands of Sith and Jedi battled one another across the galaxy. The Sith were opposed by the Army of Light commanded by the aged Jedi Master Lord Hoth.

Lumiya

Main article Lumiya

In the fictional Star Wars universe, Shira Brie (a.k.a. Lumiya) was a Force adept and Emperor's Hand who was trained in rudimentary Sith knowledge by Darth Vader. After the Emperor and Darth Vader died in the Battle of Endor, she inherited the title Dark Lady of the Sith, though whether this was through the guidance of the Sith spirits of Korriban, a Sith Holocron, or some other means is unknown.

She joins the Exile after boarding the Ebon Hawk to attack the Exile. When the Exile spares her life, it causes Visas to pledge her life to the Exile. In a final test of allegiance to the Exile, Visas confronts her old master aboard his vessel, the Ravager. Her fate ends up solely resting on that of the Exile, who either sends her to her death, or inspires her to stand up against her former master.

Visas Marr's name most likly originates from the Latin word visus meaning sight (ironic seeing as Mirluka do not posses physical eyes but have sight through the Force)

Light Ending

If the player is using male character and plays light, despite some turbulence, he can eventually fall in romance with her. She stands with the protagonist against her former master Darth Nihilus and achieve a victory. Her ending is hinted by Darth Traya's dying words, who says of her that she will revisit her homeworld. But since the protagonist will have to follow the path of Darth Revan he will be obliged to leave her behind.

Visas is hinted at by Darth Traya as being one of the key individuals involved in the reformation of the Jedi Order following the departure of the Jedi Exile.

Nadd, Freedon

Main article Freedon Nadd

Freedon Nadd started his life in the opposite direction, as a Jedi student, trained at the Jedi Temple on Ossus some 4,400 years before the Battle of Yavin. He was amazingly open and willing to touch the Force, which may have inevitably led him down the dark path. Even though so strong in the Force, he failed his first true test, when he was told by the Jedi Masters at Ossus that he would not receive his promotion to become a Jedi Knight.

Nihilus, Darth

Main article Darth Nihilus

Darth Nihilus is the infamous Sith Lord from the video game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. He is the shadowy figure that wears a red and white ghost mask and is dressed in a black cloak. Nihilus must consume Force energy to survive.

Pall, Ajunta

Star Wars character
Ajunta Pall
Homeworld Korriban
Species Human
Gender Male
Height
Weapon Sword (double-bladed)
Vehicle
Affiliation Sith Order
Film portrayer

In the Star Wars universe, Ajunta Pall was a former Dark Lord of the Sith of great power. He is not mentioned that much, but in the 2003 videogame Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the player can explore his tomb on the planet Korriban.

The Ajunta Pall Quest

As the player, (Revan) reaches Korriban, Revan has to join the Sith Academy to find the Star Map. To do so, Revan has to gain prestige, which can be accomplished by performing several tasks, one of which is retrieving Ajunta Pall's famed blade. Ajunta Pall's tomb, like all other tombs is inhabited by deadly creatures. After the clearing through them, Revan finds three swords in the tomb, each one having special characteristics. It is here that Ajunta Pall's spirit appears and laments , seemingly on his conversion to the dark side. He wishes to become one with the Force, but can't do so due to the dark side aura of the sword. He urges to Revan to take away the sword from the tomb, so that he can be one with the Force. The trick is, to find which sword is actually Ajunta Pall's sword. Choosing the wrong sword, or mocking him will make him angry and cause him to battle you. Choosing the right sword will allow Revan to pass and Ajunta Pall to become one with the Force. The choosing of the sword is aided by Pall himself, who recites a small description of his sword.

Ajunta Pall's Sword

One remarkable feature about Ajunta Pall is his sword. A double-bladed weapon of immense power, it was what lead to his eventual demise. In it, he poured his pride, his arrogance, and his hatred. Revan took the blade from the Sith Lord's tomb, but what Revan did with it is unknown.

Plagueis, Darth

Main article Darth Plagueis

Darth Plagueis was a Sith Lord. However, his apprentice, Darth Sidious, betrayed Plagueis (a common practice among the Sith) and killed him in his sleep, thus becoming the Sith Master himself. Plagueis is sometimes referred to as "Darth Plagueis the Wise", as he found a way to manipulate midi-chlorians to prevent death and create life. Although it is never stated in the movie that Sidious was Plagueis' apprentice, it is included in the novelization of Revenge of the Sith and implied throughout the film.

Qordis

Very little is known of Lord Qordis, he was a member of the Brotherhood of Darkness, a faction of powerful Sith lords, and one of the last great Sith. Qordis trained the famed Darth Bane, the Sith who started the tradition of only two Sith existing at a time; a master and an apprentice. Bane's master fought in the Battle of Ruusan, the last great battle between the Sith and Jedi and died in the blast of the thought bomb, though his apprentice escaped. Qordis' spirit was later able to contact Bane on the Dxun, the Onderon moon after causing his ship to crash there due to envy of Bane's survival.

Ragnos, Marka

Main article Marka Ragnos

Marka Ragnos was originally featured in the comic book series Tales of the Jedi. Details of his century-long reign are few, although his death marked the end of the high point of the Sith Empire. Immediately following his funeral, a schism erupted between the leaders of the Sith, and further events led to a major war with the Galactic Republic and, because the schism was never healed, ultimately the end of their interstellar empire.

Rivan, Darth

Darth Rivan is a fictional character from the Star Wars Expanded Universe, not to be confused with Darth Revan of Knights of the Old Republic.

Little is known of this mysterious Sith lord who resided in the galaxy sometime before and during the Sith wars, establishing a home on the planet Almas, far beyond the usual range of planets.

Rivan built a fortress for himself underneath the planet's surface to hide from the Jedi. Like most Sith, Rivan felt the need to tamper with the force and nature, creating a new strain of oxygen producing plants over a course of one year on Almas, the Kaluthin plant. Rivan spread the new creation across the surface of the world, changing the atmosphere and drawing heat from the core. Rivan was driven from his homeworld by the Jedi during the Sith wars, and eventually perished in the Battle of Ruusan. Galactic Republic and Jedi forces destroyed the dome of his fortress, but could not destroy the fortress itself.

Thinking the fortress was not worth the effort, they decided to leave it alone. The planet, though far from its suns, was bathed in radiant light, the phosphorus rich plants responsible. One side of the world, however, there is an area of inhospitable wasteland slowly spreading outwards where even the Kaluthin plant can grow no more. The centre of this dying land is the Sith fortress, baffling Jedi as to how it is killing the world.

Analysis of the fortress performed shortly after the Battle of Naboo revealed that the dome on the fortress was well over 1,000 years old, indicating that Rivan himself was of a very advanced age at the time of its construction. This led many Jedi scholars to believe that Rivan was not of human origin.

Rivan is often associated with the Darkstaff.

Naga Sadow was a Sith Lord 5000 years BBY. He was the mastermind that led the Great Hyperspace War that attempted to expand the borders of the Sith Empire at the expense of the Old Republic only to oversee the destruction of the Sith by the Republic and the Jedi. Naga Sadow had pure Sith blood, and was a member of a priesthood that practiced Sith magic, drawing from the dark side of the Force. Labeled a criminal by the Old Republic due to his part in the war, he fled to Yavin 4, the moon of a gas giant where he conducted experiments on his Massassi warriors causing them to mutate from red-skinned humanoids into fearsome, savage, hunchbacked predators. Despite this, his Massassi slaves treated him like a god, building huge temples to honour their Sith Lord. His tomb is seen in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic on Xbox & PC on Korriban, a Sith planet. He was also the master of Freedon Nadd, who became the next Dark Lord of the Sith.

Simus

The ancient Sith Lord, Simus was one of the most powerful of his era. He trained the Sith magician Naga Sadow while in his prime.

However, he was defeated in battle by Marka Ragnos and fated to die. Simus had other plans, and used the Dark Side magic of the Sith to preserve himself. His head was encased in a specialized, crystalline container, and he existed this way for another century before Ragnos died.

When Ludo Kressh and Sadow began fighting over the rulership of the Sith Empire, it was Simus who urged Kressh to consider the possibility that Jori and Gav Daragon were truly hyperspace mappers, and not advanced scouts for the Old Republic. When Kressh refused, Simus gave his support to his former student, Naga Sadow. This trust proved to be short-lived, for Sadow had Simus killed as part of the deception surrounding his plans to become the Dark Lord of the Sith.

Sion, Darth

Main article Darth Sion

Darth Sion, along with Darth Nihilus and Darth Traya, is one of the title characters in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. His body consists of bits and pieces held together by sheer force of will and the power of hatred, channeled through the dark side.

When the Sith Order on Korriban turned on themselves after Malak's death and Revan's disappearance, Sion was, apparently, one of the Sith Lords that escaped to the Unknown Regions in the galaxy. But it seemed he actually went to Malachor V, where he became apprentice to Darth Traya, a former teacher of Darth Revan.

Traya, Darth

Main article Darth Traya

Darth Traya is a character from the Star Wars game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Darth Traya is the name that the Force witch Kreia took after she was exiled from the Jedi Order and became a Sith Lord, one of the three the title of the game refers to. She had also taught Darth Revan in the Jedi ways while still a Jedi. Kreia was consumed by guilt after the Jedi Civil War, wondering if her teachings had led to Revan's fall. She travelled to Malachor V, which she sensed as Revan's last location and, corrupted by the dark side, embraced the secrets of the Sith.

Wynn, Uthar

Uthar Wynn is the leader of the Sith academy on the planet Korriban. In the game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the player meets Uthar and does things that will earn him or her presitge, such as finding an artifact, and thus becoming more likely to make it into the academy as a full Sith.

Zannah, Darth

Missing image
Zannah_bane.jpg
Zannah (right) and Darth Bane

Zannah, also known as Rain, was a young girl from Somov Rit, and cousin to Tomcat (Darovit) and Bug (Hardin).

She was one of the many children recruited to the Army of Light to fight the Sith. She was one of the only survivors of the seventh Battle of Ruusan, and became the first apprentice of Darth Bane.

After Ruusan, she and Bane stumbled across her cousin Darovit, who tried to stop Bane. Zannah caused Darovit's hand to explode, and Bane questioned her on why she allowed him to live; she replied that she was still young.

Zannah did not travel with Bane from Ruusan to Dxun, instead she met him later on the world of Onderon, after Bane had fully realised his plans for the new Sith Order.

Bane took Zannah as his new Sith apprentice, bestowing upon her the title of 'Darth', to be henceforth passed down from Master to apprentice in Bane's new Sith Order. Darth Zannah, Dark Lord of the Sith, returned to Ruusan several years after the battle, and engaged her wandering cousin in a final, deadly duel.
