The Daimler-Benz DB 601 was a German aircraft engine built during World War II. It was a liquid-cooled inverted V12, and powered the Messerschmitt Bf 109, among others.
Common data :
- 12-cylinder inverted Vee, water cooling
- pressurized water cooling (DB601E/F/G only)
- 33.9 litre, two spark plugs per cylinder, 4-valve,
- Direct fuel injection, single stage supercharger
