DNS.be, the Belgian internet top-level domain (TLD) administrator is a non-profit organisation. They manage the .be domain names through their agents, which can register domains in the name of their clients.

DNS Belgium, the company's name, is derived from 'Domain Name Server'. The company was established as a non-profit organisation in 1999 by ISPA, Fabrimetal (Agoria) and Beltug. On December 11 2000 DNS established an agency network to decentralise registration and automated a simpler application procedure.

Since 2003 DNS has been party to a data escrow agreement to ensure continuity of service.
