Domestic partnerships in Hawaii

Hawaii state recognize Reciprocal Beneficiaries since 1997. It included same-sex partners, who cannot get married. Thay have access to a range of rights and benefits on the state level – inheritance rights, workers’ compensation, the rights to sue for wrongful death, health and pension benefits for state employees, hospital visitation, health-care decision making.
