Duras
In Star Trek, Duras was a formerly important House in the Klingon Empire, once holding seats on the High Council. Throughout the 5 iterations of Star Trek the Duras House has been shown to be treacherous and manipulative. Members include the busty Duras sisters Lursa and B'Etor and the illegitimate son of Duras, Toral.
Duras is a commune of the Lot-et-Garonne département, in France.
The writer Marguerite Donnadieu (1914-1996) took the pseudonym "Marguerite Duras" in 1943, after this village, where her father's house was located.
