Ehwaz

Ehwaz is the reconstructed Proto-Germanic name of the e-rune Ɇ, meaning "horse (cognate to Latin equus). In the Anglo-Saxon Futhorc, it is continued as ᛖ eh, not to be confused with ᛇ eoh (c.f. Eihwaz). It is not continued in the Younger Futhark.
