Elbit Systems Ltd. is one of Israel's largest defense electronics manufacturer and integrator. Established in 1966, Elbit has over 5000 employees.
On 2004 Elbit won a contract to transform the Israeli Defence Forces into a digital army in the צי"ד project ("Zaid" is an abbervation of "Digital Land Army").
Elbit is traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker ESLT, and also on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange.
