Fast casual restaurant

A fast casual restaurant is a type of restaurant which is similar to a fast-food restaurant in that it does not offer full table service, but promises a somewhat higher quality of food and atmosphere. Fast casual restaurants have been taking market share from fast food restaurants in the United States since the 1990s.
