Fatehpur

Fatehpur is a town of Sikar district in Rajasthan, India. It is part of the Shekhawati region. It is midway between Jaipur and Bikaner on National Highway-11. Fatehpur is located at 28°2' North, 75°2' East. Fatehpur is famous for grand havelis with frescos, which is specialty of the Shekhawati region.

The Muslim Khaimkani Nawabs established Fatehpur in 1451. Once it served as the capital of Fateh Khan, a Muslim Nawab. Shekhawati Rajputs took it over in the 18th century.
