Frederick DuCane Godman

Frederick DuCane Godman (January 15, 1834 - February 19, 1919) was an English lepidopterist, entomologist and ornithologist.

Godman is best known for co-authoring Biologia Centrali-Americanum (1879-1915) with Osbert Salvin. This was a 52 volume encyclopedia on the natural history of Central America. Godman was also one of the eight founders of the British Ornithologists' Union.
