G-Unit Records is a label under Interscope Records. Founded by rapper 50 Cent and manager Sha Money XL.
50 Cent is signed to Shady Records and Aftermath Records, but however he is the first signed artist to the label. Other labelmates include Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Spider Loc, Olivia, Young Buck and (The) Game.
G-Unit album releases include 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin', G-Unit Beg For Mercy, Lloyd Banks The Hunger For More, Young Buck Straight Outta Cashville, The Game Documentary.
Other releases include 50 Cent's The Massacare, solo projects from Tony Yayo, Spider Loc, and sophomore albums from Lloyd Banks and Young Buck.
Until recently The Game was part of G-Unit. 50 Cent and members of G-Unit have parted ways with him causing a major rift in the Shady/Aftermath label. Tension between 50 Cent and The Game had been brewing for years and right after The Game's album release before the release of 50 Cent's album, the two are currently beefing with one another. The Game is still signed to Aftermath Entertainment. Until further notice he is still a part of G-Unit Records.
