Hemorrhage

Hemorrhage (alternate spelling is Haemorrhage) is the medical term referring to the presence of blood in the interstitial tissues.

It is usually used to describe internal bleeding, for example, cerebral hemorrhage, which can have serious complications if left untreated. Nevertheless, the term itself is general to all bleeding.
