Heathrow Terminal 5 station

Heathrow Terminal 5 station is a shared railway station currently under construction to serve Terminal 5, which is also under construction at London Heathrow Airport.

When completed, it is anticipated that the Terminal 5 station will be served by the following rail services:

• Piccadilly Line: A service with trains on the Heathrow branch alternating between
  • via Hatton Cross, Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3 to Heathrow Terminal 5 and reverse.
  • via Hatton Cross, Heathrow Terminal 4 and Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3 and back to Hatton Cross.

• Heathrow Express: Heathrow Terminal 5 station will become the new terminus for the Heathrow Express service, relegating Heathrow Terminal 4 to be served by a shuttle from Heathrow Terminals 1,2,3.

The Terminal 5 station is also being built with additional platforms for use by a west-facing connection to the National Rail network, if and when such a connection may be built.

There are currently no plans to connect terminals 4 and 5 by a direct rail service of any type.
