Jill Balcon
Jill Balcon (born January 3, 1925) is a British actress.
The daughter of Michael Balcon, she was born in London and made her film debut in Nicholas Nickleby (1947). Over the years she has appeared regularly, though not extensively, on screen.
In 1951, she married Nicholas Blake, better known as the poet Cecil Day-Lewis. They had two children: one of whom is the actor, Daniel Day-Lewis.
