Jinzhou

Jinzhou (Simplified Chinese: 锦州; Traditional Chinese: 錦州; pinyin: Jǐnzhōu) is a prefecture-level city and a large coastal industrial centre in southwestern Liaoning Province, China, in the northern shore of Bohai Sea. It was once a strategic military city in the Liaoxi Passage (遼西走廊). Jinzhou's jurisdiction is 10,301 kmē, 440 kmē is rural. Its coastline is 97.7 km. Population: 3,000,000 - 770,000 of which are urban.
