Johannes Grenzfurthner (* June 13 1975, Vienna) is artist, writer, curator.

He attended many international symposia and published numerous essays and articles on contemporary art, science and philosophy. He writes for various online/print magazines and radio stations (e.g. ORF, FM4, Telepolis, Boing Boing). Johannes Grenzfurthner has served on a number of art juries (e.g. Steirischer Herbst, Graz).

Johannes Grenzfurthner is founder of monochrom, an internationally acting art and theory group. Most of his artistic output is labeled as “monochrom”. He is collaborating with groups as ubermorgen or Mego. He is member of the Community of Fine Arts Austria and a contributor to Vienna Metroblogging.
