Kung Pow: Enter the Fist

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist is a 2002 comedy film. Written, directed and starring Steve Oedekerk, it uses and manipulates footage from the 1977 Hong Kong martial arts movie Tiger and Crane Fist (also known as "Savage Killers") to create an original, unrelated plot.

For example, in many scenes Jimmy Wang Yu, the lead actor in Tiger and Crane Fist was replaced by Oedekerk via blue screen post-production techniques. Oedekerk also redubbed all of the original cast's voices himself.

Plot

Steve Oedekerk stars as "The Chosen One". He is marked by the sign of the Chosen One, which is the fact that his tongue has a small face, including mouth and its own small tongue, and emits high-pitched screaming from time to time. The Chosen One calls his tongue "Tongue-y".

When he was a baby, the mysterious Evil Council had Master Pain kill Chosen One's parents. However, Master Pain was not able to fulfill his task to kill the Chosen One because, even as an infant, the Chosen One had powerful martial arts skills and was able to defend himself in an action-packed scene with lots of special effects.

Years later, the Chosen One then devotes his life to finding and seeking revenge on Master Pain (now named "Betty") and discovering out the true identity of the Evil Council.
