Kutno

Kutno is a town in central Poland with 51,000 inhabitants (1995). Situated in the Lodz Voivodship (since 1999), previously in Plock Voivodship (1975-1998).

During the Polish Defence War of 1939 in and around the town the Polish armies under general Tadeusz Kutrzeba conducted an offensive that was later named the Battle of Bzura.
