Lesbian Greek

Lesbian language is an ancient Greek dialect that belongs to the Aeolic group of the Central Greek languages spoken in the island of Lesbos and other nearby islands. This dialect had an important role as a literary language in the 7th and 6th century BC. Many of the poems of Sappho and Alcaeus were written in this dialect.
