Manor House

A Manor house is also a small country house of the English gentry, not invariably at the heart of a feudal manor.

Manor House is an area of North London at the northern fringes of Finsbury Park. Its name derives from the Manor House public house which stood at the junction of the Seven Sisters Road and Green Lanes. Subsequently, the opening of Manor House tube station in 1932 established the name firmly in the area.
