Metropolitan Borough of Stoke Newington

The Metropolitan Borough of Stoke Newington was a metropolitan borough in the County of London between 1899 and 1965, (previously known as South Hornsey) when it became part of the London Borough of Hackney.

It included western part of the district of Stoke Newington (most was in the metropolitan borough of Hackney) and Manor House, and bordered the metropolitan boroughs of Islington and Hackney, as well as Middlesex to the north.
