Mike Duke
Michael T. Duke is a management executive in the U.S.A..
He is currently serving as the Executive Vice President and President and Chief Executive Officer of Wal-Mart Stores Division. (Wal-Mart is the world's largest retailer, and the largest company in the world based on revenue.) He has been with Wal-Mart since 1995, serving formerly as:
- Executive Vice President of Administration,
- Executive Vice President of Logistics,
- Senior Vice President of Logistics, and
- Senior Vice President of Distribution.
He is also a Company Director on the Board of Directors of Arvest-Bank of Bentonville and the Retail Industry Leaders Association.
He formerly held positions with a number of retailers, including Federated Department Stores, May Department Stores and Venture Stores.
Education
Duke earned a BS in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1971. He is a member of Georgia Tech's Advisory Board.
