Mine, Saga

Mine (三根町; -chou) is a town located in Miyaki District, Saga, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 7,361 and a density of 449.66 persons per km². The total area is 16.37 km².

Mine's amenities include a sports centre, junior high school, two convenience stores and a vibrant latin quarter. Here you can listen to jazz, imbibe rare herbal smoke, dance into a hypnotic frenzy and choose from a range of greased women.

The status of this municipality was changed from a village to a town on 1 May 1962.
