Molluscicide

Molluscicides are pesticides used to control molluscs, i.e. slugs and snails. These substances include metaldehyde, methiocarb and aluminium sulphate. They should be used with caution, as they can be harmful to non-target animals. Molluscicides are not used in organic gardening.
