Ohio Northern University
Ohio Northern University was founded by Henry Solomon Lehr in Ada, Ohio in 1871. It was originally known as Ohio Normal University. Approximately 3,500 undergraduate students attend, many in the Engineering and Pharmacy schools. There are also schools of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, and Law. The school mascot is the Polar Bear. The Law School has the lowest bar passage rate and the hightest tution of the nine Ohio law schools. (disputed — see talk page) Ohio Northern University's campus is referred to as the tundra, a double entendre stemming from the school mascot, and a jab at what some see as its general decrepit and snow covered state.
