Oxenfez
Oxenfez is a word game mainly practised in the English county of North East Lincolnshire, and is often played as a drinking game.
Rules
The premise of the game is simple: one player starts by saying a letter. Each following player has to add a letter to this one and then attempt to say a word that would be produced by these letters. For example, if the letter "N" had been chosen by the first player, the second player could choose "O" and then say "no". The third player could then choose "J" and say "noj". If a player either forgets the series of letters or is unable to pronounce the word he is out of the game, and a new round is started by the remaining players. The game is most enjoyed if those participating are inebriated, and often has its rules modified so that instead of a player being out of the game, he instead has to, for example, down a drink, or perform a forfeit.
The name seems to have originated from a word created during a round of it, and is also commonly referred to as Noj.
