Pallet fork

The pallet fork or pallet lever is an integral component of the Lever Escapement of a typical mechanical watch. The pallet fork has two jewels; which are called the entry and exit pallets. The jewels interact with the escape wheel and the pallet interacts with the impulse jewel on the balance wheel.
