Panjin

Panjin 盘锦 is a major oil-producing city in Liaoning Province, China.

There are about one million people living in the Panjin area, which includes the town of Bohai and the district of Panshan.

Major places in Panjin of interest include Shuangtaizi State Natural Reserve, an infamous gulag-type prison (still in operation), reed-grass beach (Golden Beach at Bohai Sea), Hubin Park in Panshan, and Liaohe Oil Company Headquarters.
