Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council
PPARC is an abbreviation for the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council, and is the UK's strategic science investment agency based in Swindon. PPARC is the primary organisation coordinating and funding UK research in the fields of particle physics and astronomy. The Research Council publishes the Frontiers magazine three times a year, containing news and highlights of the research and outreach programmes it supports.
