Pavel Sergeevich Alexandrov

Pavel Sergeevich Alexandrov (Па́вел Серге́евич Алекса́ндров, sometimes romanized Alexandroff or Aleksandrov) (born May 7, 1896 - died November 16, 1982) was a Russian mathematician. He wrote about 300 papers, making important contributions to set theory and topology. He was made a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences in 1953.
