Phil Gordon

Phil Gordan is a professional poker player who played his first World Series of Poker Championship Event in 2001 and finished 4th winning $400,000 and a spot on the Travel Channel documentary ("Inside the World Series of Poker").

He has had two WSOP final table appearances in 2002, and won the Pro Division of the WPT inaugural tournament in Aruba.

In 2003 he moved into poker journalism, providing expert analysis for the World Series of Poker Championship Event for Binion's live internet broadcast, as well as daily reports for a national radio audience.

In March 2004, he knocked out two players at once to win the WPT's "Bay 101 Shooting Stars" tournament.

He also has had a stint as a poker author writing three books, including Poker: The Real Deal, and Phil Gordons Little Green Book: Lessons and Teachings in No Limit Hold 'em, released later this year.
