Philip Eisner
Screenwriter for the 1997 science fiction/horror gorefest Event Horizon (which spent five years in limbo before being sold to Paramount and helmed by director Paul Anderson).
Philip Eisner has had several other projects in various stages of development, most of them dealing with death and what lies beyond. Five years ago he signed a deal to write "Firestarter: Rekindled" (which was released in 2002) for the Sci Fi Channel. In early 2005, Paramount-based Scott Rudin Productions acquired Philip Eisner's supernatural thriller Furious Angels, which blends the elements of religious-themed horror and family melodrama.
