His Royal Highness Prince Joachim of Denmark (born June 7, 1969), is the younger son of Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and her husband, Prince Consort Henrik of Denmark.

He married, on November 18, 1995, Alexandra Christina Manley, a Hong Kong-born former banker of English, Chinese, Polish, and Austrian ancestry. They have two sons, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix.

In September of 2004, they announced their separation, which was soon followed by a flurry of newspaper reports regarding the prince's reported penchant for late-night partying, race-car driving, and other pursuits that some observers saw as elements of a possible mid-life crisis. The couple divorced on April 8, 2005.

He currently resides in Schackenborg Manor in southern Jutland.
