Province of Asti

Asti (It. Provincia di Asti) is a province in the Piedmont region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Asti.

It has an area of 1,511 sq km, and a total population of 208,339 (2001). There are 118 communes in the province (source: Italian institute of statistics Istat, see this link).
